Product Description
The Famille Perrin Châteauneuf-du-Pape 'Les Sinards' Rouge 2022 represents the exceptional second wine from the legendary Beaucastel estate owners. This distinguished Châteauneuf-du-Pape showcases the renowned winemaking expertise of the Famille Perrin, one of the Southern Rhône's most celebrated producers since 1909.
Vineyard & Winemaking
Crafted from young vines under 20 years old at Beaucastel and neighboring vineyards, this Red Wine is predominantly Grenache (70%) blended with Syrah (15%), Mourvèdre (10%), and Cinsault (5%). Following traditional Beaucastel methods, each variety is vinified separately with part of the Syrah fermented in whole bunches, aged 2 years in large foudres.
Tasting Notes
Rated 93/100 by Jeb Dunnuck, this elegant Châteauneuf-du-Pape reveals "classic garrigue and kirsch notes with polished tannins". The palate displays concentrated black cherry, raspberry liqueur, and roasted herbs with hints of espresso, licorice, and velvety texture. A Red Wine offering immediate pleasure while developing beautifully over the next decade.
