Product Description
Jean-Pierre Guyon Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Argillats Blanc 2023 is a rare white from the Côte de Nuits, made from Pinot Gouges (Pinot Blanc), an albino Pinot Noir mutation discovered by Henri Gouges . Guyon presses quickly, settles the must briefly, then ferments in 228L oak barrels at low temperature for slow, aromatic build, followed by malolactic in spring and careful fining/filtration before bottling .
Expect apricot, peach and citrus, plus toasted bread, honeyed spice and a hint of star anise, carried by a fresh, saliva-inducing attack and a long, fleshy finish. For Hong Kong buyers chasing distinctive Burgundy, this Nuits-Saint-Georges blanc is a conversation-starter with serious cellar potential.
