Johannes Zillinger's 'Numen' Muskateller 2021 is 100% Gelber Muskateller from selected Muscat à Petit Grains vines in Austria, macerated 10 days in Kvevri then aged 14 months on lees. Recommended for fans of textural, savoury whites.
Roses, grapefruit zest, bitter orange and lime lead, with baked celery, garden herbs and wet clay underneath. Silky yet grippy, the palate balances floral citrus with spicy, tart nuances, finishing salty, taut and long.
