This Grand Cru is the result of environmentally friendly grape cultivation, adhering to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture since 2004. This holistic approach ensures the best interaction between the grapevines and their natural environment, conducive to producing grapes of exceptional quality. The winemaking process of this Riesling is particularly careful, starting with hand-picking and delicate pressing, followed by a natural, non-interventional fermentation. Then, the grapes mature in barrels of hundred-year-old oak or stainless steel, allowing the main aromas to develop optimally. The 2018 Riesling brand Grand Cru is produced from plots with intentionally limited yields and grapevines with an average age of 40 years, achieving a perfect balance between moderate residual sugar (5 grams/liter) and crisp acidity (7.3 grams/liter). Combining the generosity of the 2018 vintage with the mineral characteristics of granite soil, it stands out with its sunny yet saline profile. Although its complexity预示s excellent aging potential, this Riesling pairs well with classic Alsace cuisine or seafood dishes with an iodized flavor. It is particularly suitable with seafood, fish, sushi, sashimi, creamy white meats, and a variety of cheeses such as goat, ewe's milk, Comté, old Gouda, or Parmesan.
