Tasting notes
Ruby red with an inviting bouquet of black cherry, raspberry jam, and licorice, interlaced with rose petal and black tea nuances; the palate is silky, balanced, and savory, finishing persistent with fine-grained tannins and lifted acidity.
Winemaking
Sangiovese-led lots were fermented at 28–30 °C with 10–14 days’ maceration for gentle extraction; malolactic in steel for Sangiovese, with select components aged in second/third-fill barriques before blending and maturation in larger casks and some barrique through spring 2024; bottling began July 2024.
