Product Description
A sixth-generation grower estate in Verzenay Grand Cru, Michel Arnould & Fils has farmed 12 hectares of Montagne de Reims since 1880. The 2017 Carte d'Or — a 50/50 Pinot Noir–Chardonnay vintage champagne — is aged on lees for a minimum of five years, capturing the concentration and precision of one of the decade's finest Champagne harvests.
- Nose: Rich and radiant — licorice, warm pastry, roasted apricot, and light citrus, developing harmoniously towards grilled and toasted notes
- Palate: Full-bodied and vibrant — ripe apple, pear, almond, and blood orange, framed by bright, precise acidity and Verzenay's trademark chalky minerality
- Finish: Long, spiced, and savoury — exotic fruit, pastry, and a clean mineral thread linger with fine, persistent mousse throughout
