Mitolo’s Harena Grenache 2024 comes from old, sandy-soil vines in Blewitt Springs, a distinctive expression of Australia’s McLaren Vale. Matured in seasoned French oak, it combines fragrant lift, supple texture and finely judged restraint.
Dark cherry, tart raspberry, violet, dried herbs and spice unfold over a silky, savoury palate with a mineral line. Ken Gargett notes its “lifted aromas” and brambly earthiness, while the finish is long, poised and finely tannic.
