This organic and conventionally produced wine (14% ABV) undergoes fermentation in French oak and ages for 8 months, yielding a deep ruby-red hue with aromas of black cherry, dusty earth, and floral hints, followed by a palate of vibrant sour cherry, taut tannins, and a bitter almond finish. Rated 90 points by Falstaff for its balance of power and finesse, the 2020 vintage reflects winemaker Fabio Chiarelotto’s meticulous approach, honed under mentorship from Angelo Gaja—and the estate’s partnership with Bordeaux visionary Silvio Denz 68.
