The 2014 Rombone is a flagship Nada Fiorenzo Barbaresco crafted from the oldest Rombone vines in Treiso's prestigious single vineyard. Scoring 93 points from Antonio Galloni at Vinous, this wine delivers a winning combination of cherry, menthol, licorice, tobacco and tar with ultra-intense floral and balsamic notes. Black cherry, plum, espresso, smoke, lavender and warm spices create an explosive, virile profile.
Traditional Winemaking & Structure
Fermented in stainless steel, the wine matured one year in French oak (25% new) followed by a year in large cask. The palate showcases harmonious balance with warm, sapid fruit and silky tannins.
