Since 1875, Robert Weil has farmed Kiedrich Gräfenberg's steep slopes, a site classified top-tier since 1867. This bone-dry Riesling Grosses Gewächs comes from vines up to 80 years old on phyllite-slate soil, hand-harvested in multiple passes and fermented slowly to preserve mineral tension.
Deep and ripe, this Rheingau wine opens with apricot, mango and papaya, layered with citrus peel and saline minerality. Concentrated yet precise, it finishes long, salty and taut — a benchmark expression of German dry Riesling.
