The grapes for this 100% Fiano wine originate from the esteemed Contrada Tognano, long recognized as one of the premier locations for this traditional grape. This Cru wine is crafted from a meticulous selection of grapes sourced from vines grafted with the century-old Fiano clone (pre-phylloxera). The combination of soil, microclimate, altitude, and east-facing exposition creates a wine with distinct characteristics. The Fiano di Avellino Tognano offers excellent structure, acidity, and complexity, with typical varietal aromas of white fruits and citrus, complemented by mint and slightly toasty notes. Over time, unique hints of hydrocarbon become more pronounced.
