Decoy Sonoma County Zinfandel 2018

This zinfandel has a medium body and a smooth, lighter style without an overly peppery taste common to the varietal. It has a deep ruby red color and aromas of red and black fruits like cherry, plum, berry, along with vanilla, oak, and a hint of black pepper. The wine has nice weight, medium acidity and ripe tannins, with a dry to off-dry residual sugar level estimated around 4-5 g/L.
