Founded in Bligny by the monks of the Cluny Abbey, the Prieuré de Sainte Eulalie played an important role in the development of winegrowing and winemaking techniques on the Cote des Bar. In the 1950s, Charles Roger Duval acquired it and the entire 28-hectare vineyard, the Monopole de Sainte Eulalie. Edouard Duval (Roger’s grandson) took over the reins and since 2015 has been crafting his internationally acclaimed Champagnes in a unique style.
Edouard Duval Champagnes are exclusively made from grapes coming from our ancestral domain of the Côte des Bar, the Monopole de “Sainte Eulalie”. They transcribe the typicity, minerality and purity of our terroir.
