Just 100km (62 miles) from the Chilean capital of Santiago lies the Aconcagua Valley, the place where Don Maximiano Errázuriz decided to found Viña Errázuriz in 1870. Crowned by Mount Aconcagua, it is now the birthplace of some of the world’s best wines, impacted by the cool breezes that blow in from the Pacific Ocean, reducing the temperatures in the vineyards planted in the valley.
