Aurélien Lemaire

From Heritage to His Own Label

Aurélien Lemaire represents a new generation at the Champagne Claude Lemaire family estate, which he joined in 2016. The estate, based in Bousault in the Vallée de la Marne, encompasses five hectares spread across 18 distinct parcels. Since taking part in the estate's operations, Aurélien has been dedicated to transitioning its vineyards to organic farming and modernizing the entire winemaking approach. His philosophy emphasizes minimal intervention, allowing the unique character of the terroir to shine through authentically. In 2018, he took over an additional two hectares of vines and began crafting his own champagne. The first vintage released under his name was 2019, marking a highly promising start to his independent winemaking journey.
