Bleasdale stands as one of Australia's oldest and most esteemed wineries, boasting over 170 years of continuous winemaking by direct descendants of the founding Potts family. Renowned for its commitment to quality, the estate has undergone significant upgrades, notably in water management. Previously, winter floods from the Bremer River sustained vineyards during dry, cool growing seasons. In the new millennium, every drop of water is carefully conserved. Shiraz dominates plantings at 45%, complemented by seven other established varieties. Additionally, Bleasdale sources Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills.
