Pauillac de Latour is the second wine of Château Latour, one of the five First Growths (Premiers Crus) of Bordeaux's Médoc region. The 2019 vintage is widely regarded as an exceptional year across Bordeaux, producing wines of great concentration, balance, and aging potential. A Classic "Sun Year" - The 2019 growing season was warm and dry, leading to grapes with excellent ripeness and concentrated flavors. It's often compared to the great 2016 and 2010 vintages for its power and structure. Despite the warmth, cool nights preserved acidity, resulting in wines that are powerful yet fresh, avoiding over-ripeness.
