Predominantly Chardonnay from Egly-Ouriet's south-facing Bisseuil vineyards, blended with Pinot Noir and Meunier, this premier cru cuvée is fermented naturally with indigenous yeasts partly in oak barrels, then aged a minimum of 48 months on lees before a precise 2 g/L dosage.
Vinous notes "crisp orchard fruit, lemon oil, mint, white flowers and almonds," describing it as "vinous and chiseled," with an "enveloping core of fruit girdled by bright acids and chalky structure" leading to a long, saline finish.
