Product Description
Minière F&R Blanc Absolu is a stunning Blanc de Blancs Champagne crafted from 100% Chardonnay sourced from the prestigious Lieu Dit Les Grands Blancs vineyard in Hermonville, where the estate has cultivated vines for generations. This exceptional cuvée showcases the elegance and minerality that define world-class grower Champagne.
Tasting Notes
The nose is complex and refined, revealing aromas of orange blossom, acacia flowers, citrus peel, hazelnut, and wet stones with subtle toasted notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, vinous, and intense, offering crisp green apple, lemon zest, and almond flavors balanced by racy acidity and a creamy mousse. The finish is long, mineral, and chalky with striking clarity and poise.
Vinification
The wine is fermented and aged in French oak barrels (40% less than 4 years old, 60% over 4 years), with 20% reserve wines. No malolactic fermentation preserves natural freshness. It ages 6 years on lees in bottle before disgorgement, with just 6g/L dosage.
