Château Clinet

Château Clinet

Clinet’s vineyards were once part of Château l’Église-Clinet before becoming a separate estate. Its location is at Pomerol’s clay-gravel plateau, near Petrus and Le Pin (shares a similar terroir), with iron-rich clay with gravel subsoil – ideal for Merlot’s plushness and Cabernet Franc’s structure. The profile is opulent yet refined – think black cherry, truffle, licorice, and mocha, with silky tannins with a long, mineral-driven finish.
