Spanning 18 contiguous hectares, the estate is defined by its rare commitment to Cabernet Franc, which dominates the vineyard at 65% of plantings—a signature shared with its elite neighbors . The remaining vines are Merlot and Malbec, thriving in a unique terroir of deep clay and ferruginous sand that limits vigor and promotes elegance .

After a period of decline, a new chapter began in 2004 when Olivier Decelle purchased the property . Through significant investment and sustainable practices—achieving organic certification in 2017 and biodynamics in 2023—the estate regained its Grand Cru Classé status in 2012 .
