Château Lascombes

Château Lascombes

Château Lascombes is a renowned Médoc estate located in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, France. Classified as a Deuxième Cru (Second Growth) in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, it is known for producing rich, powerful wines with a modern touch. With 120 hectares of vineyards in Margaux, it contains a unique mix of soils: Gravelly hilltops (similar to Margaux’s best Crus), Clay-limestone (adds structure) and Merlot-dominated plantings (50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot) – unusual for Margaux, where Cabernet typically dominates.
