Clos du Val

Clos du Val

Clos Du Val is a well-respected winery located in the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, California. Founded in 1972 by French winemaker Bernard Portet, the winery has built a strong reputation for producing high-quality Bordeaux-style wines. The name "Clos Du Val" means "small vineyard of a small valley" in French. Their 1972 Cabernet Sauvignon was one of only six California wines selected for the 1976 Judgment of Paris tasting, which helped put Napa Valley on the global wine map.
