Domaine Michèle & Patrice Rion is a family-run Burgundy estate renowned for its meticulous, terroir-driven wines from prized appellations like Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, and Vosne-Romanée. Founded in 1990 by Patrice Rion—formerly the winemaker at Domaine Daniel Rion—and his wife Michèle, the domaine combines tradition with innovation, emphasizing organic viticulture, rigorous sorting, and minimalist winemaking to preserve purity and freshness. With vineyards farmed sustainably and a négociant arm expanding their range, the Rions craft elegant, balanced wines marked by silky tannins and vibrant fruit, from their monopole Clos St-Marc to coveted Premier Crus like Les Amoureuses. Today, Patrice and Michèle are joined by their son Maxime, an oenology graduate, who further refines the estate’s refined, expressive style.
