Dunn Vineyards

Founded in 1978 by Randy and Lori Dunn, Dunn Vineyards is a family-owned winery perched above 1,400 feet on Howell Mountain in Napa Valley. Known for its bold, age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon, Dunn Vineyards has become a benchmark for mountain-grown wines.

Randy and Lori started with a 14-acre parcel in Angwin, planting Cabernet Sauvignon while Randy worked as a winemaker in Rutherford. By 1981, the winery was officially bonded, and the family moved onto the property. Randy’s dedication to crafting powerful, tannic wines from Howell Mountain fruit quickly gained acclaim. Today, the Dunn family, including children Mike and Kristina, continues to oversee every aspect of farming and winemaking.
