Sergio Germano is the talented winemaker behind this small family estate located in the prime Barolo sub-area of Serralunga, specifically on the renowned "Cerretta" hill, which boasts a vast vineyard area facing South and South-West.
The estate spans 11 hectares, dedicated to cultivating grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba, Nebbiolo, and an experimental plot for Riesling. Initially, Ettore and his father, Alberto, owned nearly 3 hectares of vineyards, gradually expanding to their current size through subsequent acquisitions. They originally sold their harvests to other winemakers. Before returning to his roots, Sergio gained valuable experience working at several prestigious estates in the region, equipping him with the knowledge and expertise to manage his own vineyard successfully.
