Light style yet very serious style red of Grenache Noir, Cinsault, Carignan and shale (soft slate) soils of north Paarl clamped between the Paarl mountain and the Paardeberg. In the fragrance you will find red fruit (cherry, berries), mineral, light earthy notes. In the mouth follows 'meatyness' and juiciness, salty, umami too, exciting, beautiful length with creamy cherries and non-sweet marzipan. Soft tannins, super drinkable. Made in elegant European style that is so characteristic of The Ahrens family wines
