Product Description
Hundred Acre Morgan's Way Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 represents the heart and soul of Hundred Acre—a legendary cult wine from the estate's flagship 9-acre Kayli Morgan Vineyard, now renamed Morgan's Way after winemaker Jayson Woodbridge's daughter. Located at the base of Howell Mountain in Napa Valley, the vineyard's chocolate clay soils create microcracks in summer, forcing roots deep into mineral-rich earth to produce wine of extraordinary complexity and terroir expression.
Triple-Digit Scoring Icon
Critics awarded near-perfect scores: Wine Independent 99 points, Decanter 98 points, and Wine Advocate 97+ points. Lisa Perrotti-Brown describes it as bursting "with flamboyant notes of black cherries, blackcurrant preserves, and blackberry pie with nuances of Chinese five spice, spearmint, and cast-iron pan".
Power Meets Precision
Deep garnet-purple in color, the wine delivers waves of ripe cherry, Madagascar vanilla, cigar box, and exotic spices on the nose. The full-bodied palate is tightly wound yet velvety, featuring muscular bright black and red fruits, chocolate, espresso, graphite, and crushed rock minerality, all framed by perfectly ripe, fine-grained tannins and fantastic tension. The finish is insanely long and minerally, resolving with sweet herbs and blood orange.
