Neo

Neo

Neo is the realization of a dream shared by childhood friends Javier Ajenjo, José Luís Simón, and Julio César Conde. In 1999, driven by their passion for wine, they pooled their savings to create Neo 2000, their first vintage, producing 6,000 bottles in a rented bodega corner. Moving to an old watermill, they refined their winemaking approach, achieving early acclaim with Neo 2000 and Neo Punta Esencia 2001 praised by Robert Parker.

A milestone came with a modern winemaking facility near Aranda de Duero, spanning ten hectares exclusively planted with Tinta Fina (local Tempranillo clone). Neo collaborates with top Ribera del Duero vineyards for high-quality grapes, some dating to the 1920s, rigorously monitored by oenologist Isaac Fernández Montaña. Under his guidance, Neo expanded production to include Rueda, Toro, Bierzo, Rioja, and Priorat, though flagship wines remain paramount.
