Product Description
The Hoë-Steen vineyard, planted in 1968, thrives in deep, red iron and clay-rich soils. It predominantly consists of Steen, with some Cape Riesling, False Pedro, Palomino, Sémillon, and Clairette blanche vines.
The grapes were hand-sorted, whole bunch pressed, and matured for a year in old French oak barrels. The wine bears the Certified Heritage Vineyards (CHV) seal and is part of the Old Vine Project (OVP), with a total production of 2,051 bottles.
This wine features a pale yellow color with a slightly floral nose, notes of honey, minerals, pear, apple, apricot, citrus, oak, and cream. It has a medium body, moderate plus acidity, and a long finish.
