Pulenta's flagship since 2005, Pulenta Estate VII Gran Corte 2021 blends 46% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot and 3% Tannat from Alto Agrelo in Argentina. A cooler 2021 vintage lends more subtlety and restraint than this wine usually shows.
Vinous gives it 94 points, writing: "It opens with a dark, nuanced aromatic profile of menthol, bay leaf, a touch of camphor, black fruit, tomato leaf and herbal spices such as oregano, supported by finely integrated oak."
