Product Description
This wine, crafted from 100% Nebbiolo grapes and traditionally fermented and aged in barriques, showcases incredible freshness and intensity. The vines thrive on southeastern-facing hills at 1200 feet altitude, in medium marl-calcareous soil, with a limited production of 5,000 bottles harvested in mid-October.
The wine features high-toned red fruit, star anise, grapefruit pith, and sandpapery tannins. It has a light red brick appearance, a nose with blue cheese, cherry, earthy notes, and butter, high acidity, medium tannins, and a long finish, making it an impressive Barolo even in its youth.
