Product Description
The 2015 Barolo Vigna Rionda is an alluring, open-knit wine showcasing the pure sensuality of one of Barolo's greatest sites. Despite the young vines planted in 2011, the results are impressive. It displays a ruby color with medium intensity and a wide reddish rim. The nose is traditionally Barolo, with a medium-plus body and medium acidity. On the palate, it is dry and complex, featuring notes of cooked cherries, plums, currants, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, earth, tobacco leaf, herbs, and peppercorn. It finishes long with round tannins and tangy cherries.
