R. Faivre
Artisanal Champagne from the Vallée de la Marne
Since 1953, R. Faivre has crafted exceptional Champagne from its family-owned vineyards in Belval-sous-Châtillon, France. Now in its third generation under David Faivre, this boutique estate specializes in single-cru expressions, with Pinot Meunier (80% of plantings) as the hallmark of their terroir-driven style.
Sustainable Excellence
Certified HVE and organic since 2020, R. Faivre champions biodiversity and low-impact viticulture. Their 5.5 hectares of brown chalky clay soils over limestone yield grapes of remarkable purity, hand-harvested plot by plot for precision.
Traditional Craftsmanship
Abandoning the cooperative model in 2017, the estate now focuses on small-batch cuvées (20,000-25,000 bottles annually). Wines undergo separate vinification and aging to highlight the nuances of each vintage, blending Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir for balanced complexity.
A Taste of Terroir
From vibrant brut styles to richer, age-worthy expressions, R. Faivre’s champagnes capture the essence of Vallée de la Marne—elegant, mineral-driven, and authentically artisanal.
