This legendary site derives its name from an ancient oak species that disappeared centuries ago, and the Buffet family cultivates 1 hectare across three parcels featuring 45-80 year-old vines positioned throughout the vineyard—north and south, bottom and top. Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grown on chalky marl soils, the wine ages 18 months in French oak barrels, developing remarkable complexity and structure
