Product Description
A Résonance project by the legendary Maison Louis Jadot, the Découverte Vineyard — meaning "Discovery" in French — sits at 600–690 feet elevation in the heart of Oregon's Dundee Hills, organically farmed on volcanic Jory soils that define its vivid red-fruit character and freshness. Hand-harvested, hand-sorted, and fermented in small lots, the 2018 is aged 17 months in French oak (30% new), capturing the natural soul of this extraordinary site.
Vibrant, Complex & Mineral-Driven
The nose is expressive and layered — strawberry, wild cherry, plum, almond, and licorice — while the palate delivers silky tannins, earthy depth, concentrated red fruits, and a long, mineral-driven finish. Rated 93 by both James Suckling and Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, this Résonance Découverte Pinot Noir wine is a benchmark Oregon expression at its peak.
