Rated 96 points by Robert Parker's Wine Advocate and 97 points by James Suckling, this exceptional single-vineyard expression marks the final vintage produced by Comando G before ownership transfer in 2023. Sourced from a one-hectare parcel of 80+ year-old Garnacha planted at 950 meters on rare slate soils, the wine undergoes natural fermentation before aging. This distinctive terroir creates more wildly aromatic, darker, richer character with firmer structure compared to Comando G's granite-based wines.

The wine displays rich garnet color with complex, intense aromatics of ripe berries, cherries, strawberries, light spices, and oak. Round yet minerally, the multi-faceted, full-bodied palate attracts bright fruity flavors with beautifully chalky, fine-grained tannins that melt through.
