Romain Henin represents a new generation of growers in Aÿ-Champagne who has completely transformed his family estate from conventional to biodynamic practices.His philosophy centers on ultra-minimal intervention: natural fermentations, no additives, no sulfur, and zero dosage across his range, allowing each parcel and vintage to express itself clearly. He has integrated vitiforestry by planting 100 trees per hectare among the vines and uses plant-based infusions from horsetail, yarrow, and nettles instead of synthetic treatments.
The result is a compact collection of high-tension, characterful champagnes that prioritize energy, drinkability, and terroir expression over cosmetic refinement, showcasing depth and purity in every bottle.
