The 2019 vintage of Domaine de Long Dai continues Lafite Rothschild's legacy in China's Shandong Peninsula, sourced from 36 hectares of terraced vineyards in Qiu Shan Valley. This Bordeaux-style blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon (38%), Marselan (25%), Merlot (15%), and Cabernet Franc (13%), showcasing the harmony between French tradition and Chinese terroir.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in color, the wine reveals rich aromas of red berries, cherry, liquorice, and violet, with subtle oak nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm yet refined tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish. While already expressive, it will benefit from additional cellaring to reveal greater complexity.
