From the historic 1917 Rompesedas plot in Toro, Spain, grapes are hand-harvested, cold-macerated in stainless steel, then aged 18 months in oak (90% French, 10% American) before bottling for optimal structure and elegance.
Coffee, toasted oak and ripe red and black fruit define the nose, unfolding into a robust, well-balanced palate with concentrated black fruit and integrated tannins. The finish is smooth and elegant, carrying spice and mineral depth.
