Certified organic since 2012, Fattoria La Magia sources this rosso di montalcino wine from younger Sangiovese vines, briefly cold-macerated and fermented in stainless steel to amplify freshness, then aged nine months in tonneaux, large barrels, and amphorae. Scoring 91 points from James Suckling, who calls it "graceful, stylish, and spicy," it opens with cinnamon, dried flowers, and raspberries.
The palate is fresh and savoury — silky tannins, crunchy red cherry, black pepper, and a persistent, balanced finish.
