A Bordeaux-style blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot from single-parcel vineyards in Panzano's Conca d'Oro, this flagship La Massa red undergoes native-yeast fermentation before 18 months maturation in partially new French oak.
Inky purple in color, it opens with black plum, cassis, cherry, sage and mint, backed by toast and butterscotch from oak aging. The palate is dense and muscular, with firm, finely grained tannins and a long, powerful finish - a serious, age-worthy Toscana IGT.
