Product Description
Keenan builds this Napa Valley Cabernet from two sources: 73% comes from its own Spring Mountain District estate, planted at about 1,700 feet, and 27% from Pope Valley in eastern Napa. The mountain fruit brings concentration and structure, while the Pope Valley fruit adds aromatic complexity and a balanced mid-palate. Only 2,445 cases were made.
James Suckling awarded 93 points: "A medium- to full-bodied red with aromas of dark berries, dried herbs, bark and undergrowth. Firm tannins on the serious frame, shaping up the palate at this stage. Chalky center palate with a powdery, compact finish."
