Founded in 2003 by Jesús Fernández, Coral Duero sources this toro red from Tinta de Toro vines planted in 1930 on the historic Salgadero plot, aging 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
Deep, dark ruby red with explosive black fruit jam aromas layered with sweet spices, liquorice, toasted oak and mint. The palate is highly concentrated and robust, with round, ripe tannins framing black fruit and a hint of mint into a long, elegant finish - a powerful expression of Spain's oldest Tempranillo clone.
