The “Own-Rooted” Pinot Noir 2019 is a blend from three historic vineyards in the Willamette Valley, each at least 30 years old, offering a rich and complex expression of ungrafted vines. Dark berries, earth, and roasted oak aromas lead to a savory palate of sweet tea leaves, ripe strawberry, and candied raspberries, accented by rosemary and thyme. The wine balances rusticity with elegance, transitioning from cherry cordial to roasted nuts and savory notes. With native yeast fermentation and no fining or filtration, this organically and biodynamically farmed wine has incredible energy and depth, enhanced by 50% new French oak.
