Product Description

Éric Rodez 'Empreinte Noire' Pinot Noir Grand Cru Brut 2011 is an exceptional single-variety champagne from Ambonnay Grand Cru, one of the finest villages in the Montagne de Reims. Rated 96 points by Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide), this vintage showcases the full potential of 100% Pinot Noir from a nine-generation family estate.

Biodynamic Viticulture & Artisan Methods

Crafted from 5-7 select parcels averaging 36 years old including Les Beurys, Le Moulin, La Grande Ruelle, Les Fournettes and Les Vaux Saint Basle. Vinified 100% in small oak barrels with no malolactic fermentation, no cold stabilization, and no filtration, with just 1.5g/L dosage.

Expansive Depth & Dark Fruit Complexity

This standout Blanc de Noirs confidently unites all the expansive depth of Pinot Noir in layers of mirabelle plums, black cherries, ginger, fruit mince spice, plum pudding and dark fruit cake. Full-bodied and structured with creamy texture, elegant acidity and long mineral finish. Drink 2024-2035.
