Product Description
Éric Rodez 'Les Beurys' Pinot Noir Ambonnay Grand Cru 2010 is an exceptional single-vineyard champagne from the chalky mid-slope, southeast-facing Les Beurys parcel in Ambonnay, one of the finest Grand Cru villages in Champagne. Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir from 35-year-old vines farmed biodynamically since 2008, this rare collector's cuvée showcases uncompromising terroir expression.
Single Parcel & Artisan Vinification
Vinified entirely in small oak barrels with no malolactic fermentation, no cold stabilization, and no filtration. Aged on lees for nearly 5 years before disgorgement in May 2015, with just 2-3 g/L dosage for an Extra Brut finish.
Nervy Tension & Red Fruit Elegance
Fresh red cherry, cranberry and stone fruit aromatics with hints of hazelnut and candied rose. Very tense and nervy with yeasty roundness, tangy acidity and a dry, exciting finish—"a real rumble in the jungle underneath".
