This wine is described as full-bodied with fine tannins, offering a balanced and fleshy texture that is round and velvety. It has a long, flavorful finish that is fine and fresh. The wine received a score of 93 points from the Wine Advocate and is a blend of mostly Sangiovese with smaller parts Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and a touch of Alicante Bouschet. The 2018 vintage provided a balance of heat and coolness, resulting in a softly pliable wine with gorgeous color saturation and a panoramic bouquet of black fruit, dried cherry, plum, spice and sweet tobacco.
