Product Description
A Vi de Paratge — Priorat's most prestigious wine classification — Gratavinum's Rocaforts 2019 is a rare 100% Grenache from 25-year-old biodynamically farmed vines rooted in Carboniferous sandstone soils unique to Gratallops.
Fermented with 20% whole bunches using native yeasts, then aged in 600-litre French oak (80%) and glass demijohn (20%), this is low-intervention winemaking at its finest. The nose is intensely aromatic — red cherry, jelly beans, flint, and a whisper of toast — while the palate delivers soft, voluminous tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish. Cellar through 2029 for sublime elegance. Pair with roasted lamb, game, or aged cheese.
