Howard's Folly Sonhador Rosé 2024 blends Aragonez and Castelão from old vines in the granite foothills of Portalegre's Serra de São Mamede, where cooler mountain temperatures preserve freshness and complexity. This dry rosé wine gets its pale salmon color from a carefully controlled skin-contact maceration, with no added sugar to soften the finish.
Ripe wild berries, raspberry jam and a touch of vanilla spice lead the nose, echoed on the palate by mature red berry fruit and candied strawberry. Vibrant acidity and a generous body carry through to a long, layered finish.
